I spent one month in Vellore, India studying at Christian Medical College Hospital. This hospital was set up by Ida Scudder, who comes from a long line of medical missionaries, after she witnessed the shocking lack of care given to Indian women and children due to the limitations of their culture.
I struggled oftentimes with the problem of self-pride when I was in school. From young, my mum has always disciplined me to work hard and strive to do well. This became a part of me, years before I even knew the Lord.
In May this year, I took the last exam of my life (as a student) and officially graduated from University. Looking back on these years, I could testify of how the Word of God was my guide in life and one of my sources of strength.
Completing university studies will be my first big milestone in life, and the journey to this point has not been without prayers and tears.
