It rejoices our heart to know
that our Sunday School ministry has been richly blessed by
God. Many of our present teachers were previously our Sunday
School students
who were reached by our Sunday School when they were children/teens
and brought to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
They have since grown in faith, wisdom and character. Today,
they seek
to impart God’s Word and impact the lives of others.
Mrs
Annie Teo
She started
attending Bethany Sunday School at age 4. Today, she
is heading SSS3 reaching out to maids and teaching
them how to love God and to be effective witnesses
for the Lord
Jesus Christ.
Miss
Grace Ng Like
Annie, Grace came to Bethany Sunday School at age 9.
Being richly blessed by the Sunday School ministry,
Grace joined
the teaching team and is today teaching a group of
young ladies in SSS1.
Deacon
George Thomas
He was our first group of Sunday School students when we commenced Bethany
I at 20 Jalan Lakum. He was 18 then.
George
grew deep in his knowledge of God and His Word. Today,
George is one of our Church deacons and Superintendent
of
Junior
Sunday School 2.
Pastors
Mark and Mitchell Tan
They are our home-grown pastors. They
grew up in Bethany both physically and spiritually speaking.
They are our first fruits.
Mr Jonathan
Jacob
He grew up in Bethany. Jonathan started attending
Sunday School at age 5 and has been faithful as a student
of God’s
Word. Today, we are proud that he has joined our Sunday
School teaching team. Jonathan is teaching a group of Primary
1 boys in
Junior Sunday School 1.
