A SINCERE WISH

We wish that life would always be about regeneration and progress. Sadly, this is not always the case. Life often includes the possibility of degeneration.

A DESCRIPTION OF UGLY DEGNERATION

What is degeneration? We have a graphic description of degeneration in the following text (Isaiah 1:21-23).

1. Israel before degeneration set in
a) Faithful

b) Full of justice

c) Righteousness lodged in it

2. Israel after degeneration

a) Harlotry

b) Murderers abound

c) Princes rebellious

d) Thieves

e) Corrupted by bribery

f) No defence of the fatherless

g) The cause of widows ignored

WARN AGAINST DEGENERATION

Once again we must ask ourselves how our Sunday School can function.

1. We can be salt that preserves things from going bad

2. We can be light that shines in black midnight

3. We can point out the dangers of degeneration

4. We can encourage all to return to the Lord for regeneration!
