NEVER JUST STORY TELLING

Teaching Sunday School must not be reduced to merely story-telling! If we end up as an information centre we would have missed a major reason why run a Sunday School at all!

DEALING WITH THE PROBLEM OF SIN

Sin is a very real part of life. We will never be free from the influence of sin. But we can offer the Lord’s word concerning how He would deal with our sins!
“Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD,
Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they be red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18

1. Divine reason

a) God’s offer is presented with Divine reason

b) Human reason is most limited (when it comes to the subject of sin)

2. Sins

a) Red as scarlet

b) Red as crimson

3. Sins can be washed

a) As white as snow

b) As wool

OFFER A SOLUTION NOT CONDEMNATION

We all need such words! They are wonderful words:-

1. Of love

2. Of hope

3. Of encouragement

Let us always teach such great truths from the Scriptures!
