TEACH THE CONCEPT OF PRACTICAL APPLICATION

It is good to tell Bible stories. But story-telling is not enough by itself. We must teach the concept of practical application. We must teach our pupils how they may apply the Word of Truth taught to them faithfully each week. An example of how to teach in this manner may be found in the following text.

“ Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.
Cease to do evil.

Learn to do good; seek justice,
Rebuke the oppressor,
Defend the fatherless,
Plead for the widow.”
Isaiah 1:16-17

b) Ceasing to do evil

2. Positively stated

THE DANGER OF A LACK OF APPLICATION

The dangers are very real. Let us note some of these dangers:-
1. Religion becomes only theoretical

2. The Bible lessons taught are not remembered

3. Faith fades because of a lack of positive and practical application
Plan to teach with practical application in mind always.
