What are some of the common problems that many of us face when we serve
the Lord? Let us consider some of these difficulties:- 2. We discover that leading people back to God (“restoration”) is a difficult task 3. We find that we often lack the strength to hold steady to our God-given tasks 4. We tend to lose focus of the tasks entrusted to us 5. We end up being dispirited and discouraged RESOLVING THESE PROBLEMS 1. Find delight in the Lord a) God’s approval was all that Jesus cared about b) The glory of the Lord was all He sought c) He basked in the glory
of serving His Father faithfully (Cf. John 17, Jesus’ reflective
prayer of His life and ministry on earth) 2. Find strength in the Lord a) We may find this source of strength through prayer b) We may find this source of strength through a close relationship maintained
with God
