Greetings! from all of us at Senior Sunday School II (Men)!.

Yes, we men also have our very own Sunday School at Bethany!
Headed by Deacon Jacob Chacko, SSS II (Men) presently has 20 men who are 30 years old and above.

Besides classroom lessons, we also have fellowship sessions and outings, where we can share what we have learnt and how the Word of God can help us deal with life's concerns. For the month of February, we have planned to go to a Japanese restaurant for dinner on the 23rd, Friday.

We welcome others who may wish to join us.

Currently, we are studying the Book of Philippians, a very interesting subject indeed. Last Sunday, we learned how the Apostle Paul, despite being in prison, found Strength from God, and was able to encourage his brethren at the Church of Philippi.

He wrote in Philippians 1:6

"Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"

Paul assures us that the Lord Jesus Christ , as we accept Him, will see us through (complete ...a good work in you (us)) from the beginning till the end or till the Day He comes again. This assurance for us is most comforting as we face the uncertainties of the present time.

Each Sunday, as we learn more and more about God's Word, we find ourselves encouraged and uplifted. As we hunger for God's Word, He will feed us WHEN we seek It, and Sunday School is, I believe, a good place to look for His nourishment.
