Before coming to Bethany recently, I had not attended worship and Sunday School in my previous church for almost three years. Those days were unbearably empty as Sunday after Sunday I wished to be in God's house worshipping Him, receiving His Word and refreshing my soul. God helped me wait for the day when my carry-in-arms babies would grow into toddlers and I would be able to lug both of them to church with me single-handedly.  

It has been my pure joy and privilege whenever I was able to attend Bethany SS and worship on Sundays since early this year. Weekly I would pray with my children Maecia and Marcus that no one would fall sick and that we would be able to go to church successfully every week.  Each Sunday, I come out of Teacher Carol's class with deep gratitude to God for His Word and wisdom learned from the lesson. It's never enough - the short thirty minutes or so.

Before Maecia my eldest turned two and a half years last September, I prayed for God to lead me to the right preschool. Above all things, I wanted one which is God-centred, knowing that the best thing I can do for Maecia is to help her grow up well in the Lord. God did not just answer my prayer for His leading to the "right" preschool after four months of praying, but He remembered and knew my needs and desire to go back to fellowshipping, Sunday worship and studying His word. I am thankful for His unending grace and mercy that, through Bethany Kindergarten, I can come to know and attend Bethany Church to be partakers together with all of you in worshipping and serving our great God.
