" Romans 1:17 ENTERING
INTO DEEP THEOLOGICAL REASONING Paul was now done with greeting
the believers in Rome. He ended his long personal greetings to them with a word
about how he felt about his ministry of preaching the Gospel. He was now ready
to enter into a deep theological discourse. ANOTHER
VIEW OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST We
have another view of the Gospel of Christ in the following text.
"For in it the righteousness
of God is revealed From faith to faith; as it is written, 'The just shall
live by faith.'" Romans 1:17
The
following things may be highlighted thus:- 1.
The righteousness of God is revealed a)
Inevitably the Gospel would present the Person of God. b)

to all believers "righteousness" . iii)
This is possible only because of the work of Christ on the cross. 2."The
just shall live by faith" a)
An exercise of faith in the Gospel of God is necessary. b)
This exercise of faith in God brings new life. c)
The true believer must continue to live by faith. 3
