The Lord constantly called God "Father" (John 17:1)

2. DEEP CONCERN FOR THE BRETHREN

b. Concern that their faith could be shaken.

The Lord was deeply concerned for His disciples. "I pray for them" (John 17:9)

C. PAUL' S MANNER OF INTERCESSION

1. SPONTANEOUS THANKSGIVINGS TO GOD

a. A Grateful Response.

"We give thanks to God always" (1 Thes. 1:2)

"We are bound to thank God always for you," (2 Thes. 1:3)

e. A Proper Response

"Brethren, as it is fitting." (2 Thes. 1:3)

The Lord spontaneously gave thanks to God - "Father , I Thank you" (Luke 10:21)

2. CONTINUOUS INTERCESSION FOR THE BRETHREN
