FURTHER PRONOUNCEMENTS AGAINST GOG

1. The Lord against Gog of Magog
"Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Mesech and Tubal"
Ezekiel 39:1

2. Gog will fall
"I will turn you around and lead you on, bringing you up from the far north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel.
And I will knock the bow out of your left hand, and cause the arrows to fall out of you right hand.
You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all you troops and the peoples who are with you…"
"'You shall fall on the open field, for I have spoken,' for I have spoken, says the Lord God.'"

3. Gog will be buried in Israel
"It will come to pass that I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel…"

LESSONS TO BE LEARNED

1. God is in absolute control
Ezekiel 39:2-5

2. His word would prevail and be fulfilled (Ezekiel 39:5, 8)
"Surely it is coming, and it shall be done,' says the Lord God.
This is the day of which I have spoken"
Ezekiel 39:8

3. God's Name will be profaned no more (Ezekiel 39:7)
"I will not let them profane My Name anymore…"
Ezekiel 39:7

4. God's glory will be established among the nations
"I will set My glory among the nations…"
Ezekiel 39:21

5. Israel and the nations will know in the most certain way that their God is Lord indeed
"Then they shall know that I am the Lord…"
Ezekiel 39:6, 7, 22, 28

6. Israel would learn why God hid His face from them (Ezekiel 39:23-24)
"Because they were unfaithful to Me, therefore I hid My face from them.
According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions
I have dealt with them, and hidden My face from them"
Ezekiel 39:23-24

7. God being most merciful would restore Israel
"I will bring back the captives of Israel, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel"
Ezekiel 39:25

8. God's Name will be hallowed in and through Israel
"I am hallowed in them in the sight of many nations…"
Ezekiel 39:27

9. God will pour out His Spirit on the House of Israel
"I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel…"
