A MESSAGE TO JERUSALEM

Judgment against Israel- "My sword"
1. The Unsheathing of the sword
"My sword shall go out of its sheath against all flesh from
south to north, that all flesh may know that I, the Lord have drawn
My sword out of its sheath.."
Ezekiel 21:4-5
a) The "sword" is a reference to war
b) It also represents the judgment of the Lord against Israel
2. The Slaying of both Wicked and Righteous
"I will cut off both righteous and wicked from you"

THE SADNESS THAT WAR BRINGS TO THE HEART
"Sigh therefore, son of man, with a breaking heart, and sign
with bitterness before their eyes

Sharpened to make a dreadful slaughter,
Polished to flash like lightning!
Should we then make mirth?"

Terrors including the sword will be against My people;
