1. God is sought
but not by His people Isa. 65:1

c) Who provoke God to anger by idolatrous practices Isa. 65:3
d) Who break the laws of God with impunity Isa. 65:4

e) Who are obnoxiously self-righteous Isa. 65:5
f) Who have forsaken the Lord Isa. 65:11

3. God's Judgment on Israel
a) Against all who practised idolatry in Israel Isa. 65:7
b) Against all who blaspheme God's name Isa. 65:7
c) They will be "slaughtered" Isa. 65:12, 15
4. Mercy extended to "the elect"
a) "For My servants' sake

b) A remnant will be preserved
