THE REDEMPTION OF GOD ISRAEL UNDER OPPRESSION

REDEMPTION PROMISED

1. "The uncircumcised and the unclean shall no longer come to you…" Isa. 52:1

2. "Shake yourself from the dust, arise…" Isa.52:2

3. "Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck…" Isa. 52:2

4. "You shall be redeemed without money…" Isa. 52:3

5. "The Lord has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem…" Isa. 52:9

6. "All the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God…" Isa. 52:10

7. "Depart! Depart! Go out from there…" Isa. 52:11

8. "You shall not go out with haste, nor by flight; for the Lord will go before you…" Isa. 52:12

9. "When the Lord brings back Zion…" Isa. 52:8

REASONS FOR ISRAEL'S REDEMPTION

1. "My people…" Isa. 52:5,6,9

2. "My Name is blasphemed continually every day…" Isa. 52:5

3. "My people shall know My Name…" Isa. 52:6

4. "I am He who speaks: Behold, it is I" Isa. 52:6

5. "Your God reigns…" Isa. 52:7

6. "The God of Israel will be your rear guard…" Isa. 52:12

REJOICING IN THE REDEMPTION/SALVATION OF GOD

1. "Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion" Isa. 52:1

2. "Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city…" Isa. 52:1

3. "How beautiful… are the feet of him who brings good news who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns" Isa. 52:7

4. "Break forth into joy, sing together…" Isa. 52:9

AN ASPECT OF THE REDEMPTION OFTEN NEGLECTED

1. Through the ministry of God's Servant Isa. 52:13
a) He shall deal "prudently" Isa. 52:13
b) "He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high" Isa. 52:13
c) "Many were astonished" Isa. 52:14
